“Copenhagen seems ready to get rid of Akinkunmi Amoo.
The Danes have reached a verbal agreement with the Cypriot Omonia Nicosia for a permanent transfer of the footballer.
21-year-old Amoo joined FCK in January 2022 from Hammarby, but his stay there was never successful.
Last season he was out for a long time with injury, and this season he has not been selected not at all for the FCK team.
Omonoia Nicosia has the Swedish Jesper Jansson as its sports director. He was sporting director at Hammarby when FCK bought Amoo, and therefore knows the winger very well.
However, it is not stated what price the two teams agreed for the footballer.
In total, he played in four matches for FCK and is under contract until the end of 2026.
The Cypriot transfer window is open until September 15, so there is still time to make a final decision.
