The Party expresses its indignation with the attitude of the local government regarding dogs for animals.
He even warns that, “we are now indignant because for 8 years as long as the establishment and operation of our party while we talk constantly and while we are overwhelmed by phone calls from citizens who in turn are also angry, because they do not find a response either in their complaints and not in their complaints when they are about the welfare and protection of animals”.
Emphasizing that, “we can't and can't bear anymore to accept so many complaints that in fact most of them concern the responsibilities of the local authorities who carelessly blow the whistle. They can't even have temporary dog detention areas for example, they are illegal without shame and find various excuses. A dog can't be walking around injured and not have the means to capture it, and what's worse, they don't accept to pay the costs of veterinary care”.
He then adds that, “at this moment the majority of the Local Government has not managed to do a proper job of counting the dogs whether they have guardians or are abandoned so that a class can be entered and at the same time they should also understand the benefit of this of the process, i.e. of the registration of the dogs in their areas and of course there will also be the corresponding financial benefit from the occupancy permits”.
The Animal Party points out that, “it is not a parliamentary party, it has no state sponsorship like all other parliamentary parties and we are all volunteers. We are not here to do your own work and your own responsibilities, but to help as much as possible by informing citizens about their rights and obligations and showing them the legal way to make their complaints.”
He calls on them to “finally implement the relevant legislation, to draw up programs to enlighten and educate citizens and to find the appropriate tools that will help in their better organizational structure with the ultimate goal of better implementation of the relevant legislation”.< /p>
Concluding, the Party for Animals of Cyprus threatens that “otherwise it will start to publicize names and communities that stubbornly refuse to pass their own responsibilities on others and do not take their own arising from the relevant legislation”.
“Our tolerance and patience have reached the limits and we will no longer tolerate any taunting and any irresponsible excuses sons”.
