In the last 24 hours, the Police made a complaint of a person in charge of property and 31 complaints of citizens after 2,749 inspections that were carried out nationwide for the observance of the measures and the implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infection.
According to a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, 1,128 checks were carried out in Nicosia, resulting in four complaints from citizens and one complaint from a bakery, with a fine of 1,500 euros for not carrying out a safe pass check.
In Limassol, 194 inspections were carried out, out of which six complaints were made, in Larnaca, 455 checks were carried out, out of which five complaints were made, in Paphos, 151 checks were carried out, out of which three complaints were made, in Famagusta, 456 checks were carried out, which resulted in 13 complaints from citizens, 96 inspections were carried out in the area of Morfos, without any complaints.
The Traffic Police carried out 156 inspections, without any complaints, while the Port and Maritime Police carried out 113 inspections, which also did not result in any complaints.
