Road works will also be carried out on the Limassol bypass
Overnight works will be carried out on Monday night in a section of the highway Nicosia-Limassol, as well as on the Limassol bypass road, with the Police recommending caution to passing drivers.
As reported by the Police, according to an announcement by the Road Transport Department, the works will be carried out from Monday, 26 August until Thursday, August 29, from 21:00 until 06:00 the next day.
Specifically, they will be held on the Nicosia-Limesos highway and on the Limassol bypass road, in the section from the uneven Monis junction up to the uneven junction of the New Limassol Hospital, both in the direction to Limassol and in the direction to Nicosia.
The works will be carried out for the purpose of replacing the safety parapets.
During the works will be partially closed, for a distance of 200m. approximately, one traffic lane and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent traffic lane.
Police recommend caution to passing vehicle drivers, who are asked to drive at a safe, low speed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front and comply with temporary road markings in the area of road works.
