In whatever way it can, the Bank invests in technological development commented the CEO of BOC

The position that the Bank of Cyprus is a technology company and not just a bank was expressed by the CEO of the Bank of Cyprus, Panikos Nikolaou, noting at the same time that for the Bank of Cyprus technology is its future.
In the context of the presentation of the new service – a product of the Bank called “QuickHub”, Mr. Nikolaou indicated that approximately half a million users use the Bank of Cyprus app monthly.
At the same time, he underlined that in any way it can, the Bank invests in technological development. Presenting some statistics, a total of 427 thousand users use the BOC app monthly, with transactions reaching 50 million euros. “One in two Cypriots is a user of the Bank of Cyprus app”, he commented on this.
He added that 94% of Bank of Cyprus services are available online. Finally, Mr. Nikolaou “extended a hand” to the state as well, saying that he wants the competent Ministry to cooperate so that the country can develop technologically and “go forward”.
