Paphos Police is investigating a case of driving under the influence of drugs, driving a motor vehicle without security, canceled registration of the vehicle and driving without a certificate of suitability.
According to the Police, yesterday at 1:30 members of the Paphos Traffic Police, while they were on Agiou Stefanou Street in Lempa, stopped a car for inspection, which was found to be driven by a 36-year-old permanent resident of Paphos. An inspection of the vehicle documents revealed that the above was not a holder of a safety certificate for driving, while the certificate of suitability was valid until 4.5.21.

A preliminary examination of a drug test revealed that at first sight the driver had saliva in her saliva.
According to the Police, he then gave an additional sample of saliva which after being sealed will be sent as is done in all cases to the General State Chemist for laboratory analysis.
Her car was searched without finding anything else illegal. The car of the 36-year-old was transported and is being held at the Paphos Traffic Police.
