Paphos Airport: "We are inside the plane with the doors closed" (VIDEO)

Thousands of passengers suffered great inconvenience at Paphos airport due to the strike which ended shortly after 7:00 in the evening.

As the SIGMA correspondent in Paphos, Marios Ignatiou, reported, the passengers suffered for hours of incredible suffering as people had gathered at the airport since 2:00 in the afternoon.

As Marios Ignatiou mentioned, there are still passengers who are trapped inside the stuck planes.

23 flights and thousands of passengers have been affected, while three aircraft were diverted to land in Larnaca as the airport could not accommodate other airports.

Speaking to SIGMA, passenger Elena Sokratous said that "We have been inside the plane with the doors closed for two and a half hours. It is very difficult and this situation cannot stand. We are trying to contact the competent authorities and no one is answering.

Passenger Maria Charalambous said that she "has babies, elderly people, tourists and I can't understand that we consider ourselves a European country that wants to live. from tourism. If I were a tourist and I arrived in a country that kept me on the plane for 3 hours, I don't know if I would come again.

According to information, the airport workers have received a signed agreement with the Government.
