A visitor, in her attempt to take pictures in the sea caves in Peyia, fell from a height of seven meters into the sea, resulting in injuries.
According to the Press Representative of ADE Pafos and Head of the TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou on January 1, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. information was received that a woman had fallen into the sea in the area of the sea caves in the area of Pegeia.
Members of the Police went there and it was found that a a 56-year-old woman from Germany with her husband while trying to take pictures and walking backwards to get a better shot fell from a height of seven meters into the sea and was injured.
The fire department assisted in the operation , port police and after finding her, the 56-year-old woman was taken to the Coral Beach hotel by a port police escort.
From there she was picked up by an ambulance and taken to the Accident and Emergency Department. n of GN Pafos. According to the doctor on duty, she suffered a fracture to her right leg and arm.
Her condition is described as stable and out of danger and she was kept for further hospitalization in the operating room of the Paphos Hospital for observation.
