A 48-year-old man was arrested yesterday by the Police as part of an investigation into a case of shoplifting and theft, illegal possession of property and theft.

< Specifically, according to a complaint to the Police from a 49-year-old, between the dates 12-13/6/2022, unknown persons broke into his store located in Paphos and stole items worth 40,000 euros.

During a coordinated operation carried out yesterday by members of TAE and OPE Paphos, were located in the house where the 48-year-old lives, a large number of items were found, such as jewelry, wallets, watches, etc., which were received as evidence.

Some of The found items were identified by the store owner as part of the stolen property.

The 48-year-old was arrested on a warrant and was detained to facilitate the investigation.
