Paphos: They injured their 23-year-old roommate with a knife – Handcuffed for six

It was reported to the Police yesterday by a 23-year-old resident of a village in the district of Pafos that, around 5 p.m. yesterday, while he was in his house with other roommates, unnecessarily as he mentioned, one of them attacked him and beat him, while the second wounded him with a knife in the shoulder blade and the back of the neck.

The 23-year-old went at the Paphos General Hospital, where it was found that he suffered injuries to his nose and lips and bruises on his right shoulder blade and neck and after first aid was provided, he was discharged.

Through police examinations, the two 33-year-old roommates were identified of the complainant, who were arrested and taken into custody to facilitate investigations into an ongoing case of conspiracy to commit a felony and a misdemeanor, wounding and assault causing actual bodily harm. As for the 33-year-old, he was also arrested for illegal stay in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.

For the offense of illegal stay in the territory of the Republic of Cyprus, the 23-year-old complainant was also arrested, as well as three more of his roommates and were taken into custody.

The Polis Chrysochous Police Station and the Paphos Police Department are continuing their investigations.
