Adviser to the President for Civil Defense and Security, George Boustras, with responsibilities for Civil Protection and Crisis Management, will participate in the High Level Review Meeting of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction organized by the UNDRR, in New York, on May 18 and 19.
According to an announcement by the Presidency, Mr. Boustras will also attend an event organized, on the sidelines of the UNDRR Meeting, by the Permanent Delegation of the Republic to the United Nations, in cooperation with the counterparts of Israel and the USA, and with the Union for the Mediterranean which will take place on May 18, with the theme “Regional Cooperation – Strengthening national preparedness”.
