Next Sunday, December 18 at 14.00 the Party for Animals will hold a protest event demanding the closure of the Limassol Zoo, forming a human chain around its perimeter and calling the people to support this action, but also the Mayor of Limassol to attend to receive the relevant memorandum
The announcement of the party refers to the tragic death of a deer that leaves “seriously exposed” and the Municipality of Limassol, which manages the Zoo, but also those who are responsible for the daily care of the animals in the garden.
The Party for Animals states that it will not expect another death of an innocent animal and fully agrees with the “Our Garden” initiative group that also calls for the closure of the zoo and to stop any redevelopment projects.
