George Papageorgiou will continue his career at Apollon Smyrni.
The Super League team reached an agreement with the 24-year-old midfielder of Ethnikos, something that was revealed by its new coach and former of Olympiacos and Apollon, Giannis Petrakis.
The Greek coach, who was invited to Cablenet's show “Without VAR”, revealed on the “air” that the contacts were successful and that there is a deal, which will be formalized with the signing of the signatures.
Papageorgiou, who was the captain of Ethnikos -from the academies of which he emerged- leaves the Achniotes after five years in their first team.
