Abandoned in the area of the State Exhibition is the Tivoli amusement park that once was full of life and offered moments of joy and carefree to young and old.
Now the only visitor to the amusement park is the time that passed and took with it every sign of life.
Tivoli Amusement Park has a long history. It was created in 1965 in the area where the first Old Exhibition was located, where today are the gardens of Metochi of Kykkos Monastery. After the Turkish invasion and specifically in 1975, the Tivoli Amusement Park in the center of Nicosia, near the church of Agios Spyridon. In 1978 it was moved to the State Exhibition Center and operated until 2012.
