6 thousand applications, pre-approval for about 4,000 consumers – Government satisfaction for response to “Photovoltaics for all” – What the Ministry of Energy says
On the occasion of the completion, in July, of the 6,000 applications budgeted for the first phase of Category A3 “Photovoltaics for All “, in the context of the “Grant Scheme to encourage the use of Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Saving in homes 2024-25”, the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry expresses satisfaction for the response of consumers in this category.
According to an announcement, the RES and EX.E. Fund has already has completed the examination and sent responses to over 5,000 applicants.
Approximately 4,000 electricity consumers have been pre-approved, who have 10 months deadline and they can now proceed with offers from installers on the list of “Participating Traders” and, subsequently, with the installation of photovoltaic systems in their homes.
The Ministry, which will will soon proceed with the announcement of the second phase of the new “Photovoltaic for All” Category, expects that the operation of photovoltaic systems on the grid, which will come from this Category, will increase significantly in the next period with the market's response to the increased demand , resulting in the consequent reduction of the total installation time.
