Extremely great interest states in an announcement by the Ministry. of Energy, Trade and Industry
All natural persons who are owners or tenants of the houses have the right to submit an application.
The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry informs the public that in the context of the 2nd call of the Grant Scheme “Save – Upgrade to Homes”, 582 applications have been received to date, since Thursday 4 May 2023 when the submission of applications began, with a total requested sponsorship amount of approximately 12 million euros.
The Ministry will continue to accept applications until the available budget of 35 million euros is exhausted, exclusively through the website https://fundingapps.mcit.gov. cy/and in order of priority determined based on the order of submission of applications.
The main purpose of the Plan, which is included in the “THALEIA 2021-2027” Program and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the EU and the Republic of Cyprus, is the energy upgrade of existing homes, so that they achieve energy savings of at least 60%. All natural persons who are owners or tenants of the houses have the right to submit an application.
