It is clear that our arbitration has its issues. They were like that in the first games of the league, even though we are only in the 2nd game of the season. Even with the help of the VAR, mistakes are not avoided, sometimes even loudly. We then hope to see improvement and the refereeing to play its own (correct) role in the fair outcome of the games, whistling means the same for everyone.
In the absence of some refereeing, however, players must not add fuel to the fire. And we explain what we mean. We saw phases shouting for cards and even red ones. Take for example the one given to Hambos Kyriakou of Apollo in the match with Mars. We emphasize that, the player of the blues is not at all one of the tough players of the Cypriot championship, we just take his behavior in this phase as an example. The referee (s.s. Kyriakos Christodoulou) correctly gave it, since the foul was really hard with Hambo coming out with the “grills” on the foot of Marios Stepinski. The reaction of the player, as well as others in other cases who are surprised in the same way, give reason in the stands to react.
The slogan “hammer well that…. son “and others like that begin. And this is the mildest reaction. Even if the TV camera justifies the referee, as in this case, the impression remains and everyone finds the pressure to say that the referee wronged us, ignoring the fact that what he did was simply the application of the rules.
