not from Cyprus

They noted that the message appears to have been sent from a foreign country and not from Cyprus, noting that the email from which the message was sent was published online along with passwords, possibly indicating that a third party appropriated this email and sent the particular email.

The same sources added that the text of the said email was also posted online, so it appears that it was not written specifically for Cyprus.

It also appears that the same wording was translated by an online translation engine, while it was detected that the sender is not from Cyprus, but from a foreign country, they noted.

They reported, finally , that as part of the Police investigations, information is expected from Europol, Interpol and the Russian authorities with the ultimate goal of locating the sender.
