Applications are accepted by the Cyprus Ports Authority until February 22, to fill the position of General Manager with a private law contract of five years or less, so that it does not exceed the age limit for mandatory retirement.
The publication of the position is made after a Decision of the Council of Ministers and the subsequent written consent of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and Budget, for its exclusion from the provisions on the Prohibition of Filling Vacancies in the Public and Wider Public Sector (Special Regulations 2013) 2017.
The position provides for an annual fixed basic salary of € 96,491 plus the current indexation allowance, which currently amounts to 1.27%, which will be revised based on the general increases granted from now on. In addition, the General Manager will be entitled to a 13th salary.
You will also be entitled to the following benefits:
(a) Performance allowance of € 1,500 per month. This performance allowance is subject to taxation, based on the Income Tax Law
(b) Concession of a service car based on the provisions of the Provision of Certain Benefits to Designated Beneficiaries of the State Sector and the Wider Public Sector (Terms and Procedure) of Laws of 2014, Law 3 (I) / 2014, of its Official Vehicles Public Sector and the Wider Public Sector Regulations of 2014 and the current Regulations that are voted on the basis of these Laws.
(c) Telecommunication facilities with the concession of a mobile phone including a car telephone. The maximum amount of coverage of telephone expenses for mobile phone, car phone and home phone will not exceed the amount of € 145.37 per month.
