Two people working in the Cypriot community in London are being treated in a UK hospital.
As the president of the Cypriot community in London, Christos Karaolis, told POLITIS 107.6 and the show Hasta Manana, the two people needed the help of a respirator, but fortunately, their health condition is improving.
In addition, a team of 20 doctors set up a network of counseling and assistance to Cypriot students, in case the latter show any symptoms.
“If the symptoms worsen they should go to the hospital, but in case it is mild, the Government recommends that we stay at home, so something like this was deemed necessary by us and we are here to help whoever is deemed necessary and necessary”, noted Mr. Karaolis , adding that it is in constant contact with EFEK and other agencies, both to find housing for anyone who needs it, as well as in resident food delivery services and basic necessities.
It is noted that the helpline for students is firstname.lastname@example.org while at https://cypriotfederation.org.uk/covid19support/ one can find all the necessary information about the coronavirus from the Cypriot community in London
