Melios Tamboutsaris was elected vice-president
Anni Giannikou was elected president of the Pafos School Board on Friday. Melios Taboutsaris was elected vice president. In statements to KYPE, Mrs. Giannikou sent messages of unity.
“I call all members to unity because we have a lot of work to do for the good of Education and our children,” she said. She also noted that they are turning the page and starting work “rolling up their sleeves”, as she put it, since the goal, she continued, is to develop an educational environment that will be encouraging for the well-being and safety of every student as well as a quality education.
It is recalled that in a previous meeting, Mrs. Giannikou and Michalis Michaelidis of DISY had received five votes each.
It was decided to draw lots, and on Friday night Mrs. Giannikou was elected.
