The Communities in Action Initiative Group is planning a protest tomorrow Tuesday 10 May 2022 , at 12:00 outside the Department of Environment.
As reported in today's announcement, “We have been informed that at 13:00 in the Department of Environment will meet on the responsibilities and operational framework of the Environmental Supervision Committee, the installation site of the insurance plant of Prometheas Asphalt Ltd in Mitsero.”
“As an Initiative group”, they continue, “we once again denounce the discriminatory attitude of the Department of Environment and the favorable treatment of the MEEP of Prometheas Asphalt Ltd during the evaluation process.
