Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIA) from the construction and operation of total capacity Photovoltaic Parks 26MW with 16MW/32MWh energy storage within the administrative boundaries of the Alektoras community, in the Limassol district
Hereby, I.A.CO Environmental & Water Consultants Ltd on behalf of the Project Owner (L.E. EVERGREEN ENERGY LIMITED) informs you of the intention to construct Photovoltaic Parks with a total capacity of 26MW with energy storage of 16MW/32MWh within the administrative boundaries of the community < strong>Elector, in the province of Limassol.
In the context of the opinion of the Environmental Authority regarding the project under consideration, I.A.CO Environmental & Water Consultants Ltd has prepared an Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIA). The MEEP presents in detail the project under consideration and its construction and operation characteristics, the biotic, abiotic and anthropogenic environment of the area, as well as the assessment of the effects on the environment and the measures proposed to mitigate them.
For the implementation of Article 26 of the Environmental Impact Assessment of Certain Projects Law of 2018, the Project Owner must inform and enable the concerned local authority and the public to submit comments and suggestions on its impacts project in the environment.
To this end, and for more effective information and participation of the public, the MEEP will be available until Sunday 12/03/2023 as follows:
• The complete MEEP will be available in electronic form at the following website http://iaco.synology.me:5000/sharing/DxmKIEsUO.
• The Information Report for public presentation purposes in accordance with the provisions of subsection (7) of article 26 of on the Assessment of the Effects of Certain Law Projects 127(I)/2018, will be available in paper form at the office of the Community Council.
