Purpose Communications announces the launch of the Purpose Academy program.
This is a pioneering initiative for Cyprus, through which the specialized team of Purpose Communications, together with other experts in the field of Public Relations and Communication, will offer their knowledge and expertise on a non-profit basis, for the benefit of charitable and non- of local non-profit organizations and institutions.
The Purpose Academy programfor 2023 it will last six months and three non-profit organizations will be chosen to participate in it, wishing to be trained in strategic communication and upgrading their public image. To claim one of the three places in this year's first cycle of the training program, interested NGOs are invited to fill out the relevant form on the Purpose Communications website.
The organizations that will participate in Purpose< /strong> Academy, will have the opportunity to upgrade the skills of their employees and volunteers, in the fields of public relations and communication, giving them the resources to plan and implement a communication plan for their organization.< /p>
As part of the Purpose Academy, participants will attend one workshop per month, with different topics, such as Public Relations, Writing Texts/storytelling, < strong>Development Media Relations, Digital Communication, Campaign Performance Recording and Measurement, Organization of Events etc. Additional individual meetings will be organized between the agencies and the Purpose Communications team.
The CEO of Purpose Communications, Dimitris Ioannidis, reveals the goal of the initiative: “The main purpose of our company is to find ways to constantly upgrade the field of communication, offering resources to organizations to actively participate in today's most important discussions. We created the Purpose Academy so that NGOs who wish to, can strengthen their communication skills and be heard. Many organizations may not currently have access or the budget to leverage paid services from communications companies, and through the program we want to provide them with the skills to help empower their voices to continue to make the world a better place.”
Applications to participate in the program are open until Friday, May 12, 2023. After evaluating the applications, Purpose Communications will invite the three organizations to this first cycle of the Purpose Academy starting in June of 2023.
