An agreement for the award of a Contract for conducting a study for the regulation of flexible forms of employment in the public service, an issue that falls under the reforms included in the Recovery and Sustainability Plan 2021-2026, was signed on Thursday by the Department of Public Administration and Personnel. PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd.
The Contract, according to an announcement of the TSI, is awarded after a public tender and evaluation of the bids submitted by economic operators.
The Department of Public Administration and Personnel states that through the study, which is expected to be completed in February 2023, “the company is invited to submit suggestions for the regulation of flexible forms of employment in the public service, along with the required safety valves that will ensure and efficient operation of public services “.
Adds that the implementation of flexible forms of employment in the Cypriot public service is being considered in the context of modernization and reform e-government, as well as a measure of balancing work and personal life.
Finally, the Department of Public Administration and Personnel states that this study falls within the reforms included in the Recovery Plan and Durability 2021-2026 and specifically in Axis 3.4 which includes, among others, actions c a modernization of the public service.
