Changes today at two sampling points, in the context of the rapid antigen detection test, for the general population and workers, the Ministry of Health announced for Limassol, at a time when there is still a large attendance of citizens for rapid testing.
Specifically, with its announcement, the Ministry states that for today, Monday, February 8, there will be no sampling point in the church of Panagia Chrysopolitissa in Ypsonas, but in the City Hall of Ypsonas (08:30 – 18:00). Also, instead of the church of Apostolos Loukas in the settlement of Agios Athanasios, the sampling point is located in the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Agios Athanasios (08:30 – 18:00).
The other 12 sampling points for the District of Limassol remain the same and specifically, between 08:30 – 18:00, sampling points operate in the Church of Agios Ioannis Eleimon, in the TEPAK building “Andreas Themistokleous on Athinon Street, in the parking lot of Frederick University Havouzas, in the church of Apostles Peter and Paul in Kapsalos, in the church of Panagia Evangelistria in Polemidia, in the Church of Agia Varvara in Zakaki, in the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Germasogeia, in the medical center of Erimi and in the church of Agios Stylianos in Linopetra.
Between 08:30 and 13:30 there is a sampling point at the community council of Trimiklini, between 08:00 and 13:00 at the Multipurpose Community Center of Pyrgos and between 13:30 and 18:00 at the exhibition space “Aphrodite – Amathousia in Agios Tychonas.
However, the attendance of citizens is high, especially on the part of employees, who form queues for rapid tests at the sampling points, an image that is repeated daily in the context of the controls required for the 2nd phase of relaxation of restrictive measures.
