In an effort to strengthen and spread the environmental message of preserving the beaches and the sea without plastics, the groups of Raging and Pink Mouflons in collaboration with students of the High School of the Apostles Peter and Paul ” adopted” and cleaned the Crowne Plaza beach in Limassol.
The beach cleanup took place during the OPAP Limassol Marathon on March 18-19, 2023 as part of Muskita Aluminum Industries' environmental action, Go Blue.
More than 500 plastics were delivered for recycling to Muskita Aluminum's recycling whale Industries in the Old Port of Limassol, by the Mouflons teams supporting the campaign “Keep Our Sand and Sea Plastic Free!”
The Go Blue action supported by Muskita Aluminum Industries reflects the institution's evolution into a comprehensive environmental approach that brings together all Muskita initiatives under a strong umbrella to maximize action and awareness around recycling, environmental protection and reducing the effects of climate change. It is inspired by the unique blue color of the sea that surrounds our island.
The Raging and Pink Mouflons Dragon Boat
The Dragon Mouflons Boat Club was founded in 2016 and created two teams under its umbrella, Raging Mouflons and Pink Mouflons.
Raging Mouflons consists of a group of enthusiastic rowers who take part in races with the sole aim of spreading messages of love and of humanity, while the Pink Mouflons rowing team is made up of female rowers with experience of breast cancer. At every opportunity, the group spreads messages of optimism, fighting spirit and strength to other women who are going through this difficult journey of dealing with the disease.
