Rain is expected from the afternoon in some areas, while in the mountains we may have light snowfall. According to the meteorological service, tomorrow Saturday the weather will be clear, as well as on Sunday, but from time to time there will be increased high clouds.

Today, the weather will initially be mostly clear, but later there will be locally increased clouds which are likely to give isolated light rains, mainly in the south and southeast as well as light snowfall on the higher peaks of Troodos. The winds will blow mainly northwest and temporarily in the afternoon on the south coast southwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 beauforts, but locally in the west to strong, 4 to 5 beauforts. The sea will be a little turbulent, but in the west and north to turbulent. The temperature will rise to 16 degrees inland and west coast, around 18 on the rest of the coast and 6 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak and temporarily up to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become a little turbulent on the west and north and up to a little turbulent on the rest of the coast. The temperature will drop to 6 degrees inland, around 8 on the coast and to minus 1 degree in the higher mountains, where frost will form locally.
On Saturday, the weather will be partly cloudy and initially isolated rains, without excluding a single storm, as well as snow or sleet on the highest peaks of the Troodos. The weather will improve significantly in the late afternoon.
On Sunday, the weather will be mostly clear. On Monday the weather will be mostly clear, but at times there will be increased high clouds.
The temperature will gradually rise until Monday to fluctuate close to the average climatic values. The height of the snow in Troodos Square, at the time of issuance of the bulletin, was 55 cm.
