The average amount of rainfall rose to 36% of normal for the month of Novemberthat fell in the free areas from the 1st of the month until 8:00 a.m. on November 18, according to preliminary data released on Friday by the Department of Meteorology, with the greatest amount of precipitation occurring in the areas of the new port of Limassol and Polis Chrysochous.< /p>
According to the data, the average total rainfall during the same period was 19.4mm, while the normal rainfall for the whole month is 53.3mm.
Specifically, the highest amount of rainfall during the period in question occurred in the new port of Limassol with 46.4 millimeters corresponding to 95% of normal for the whole of November, in Polis Chrysochous with 29.2 millimeters (45% of normal), in Stavros tis Psokas with 25.9 millimeters (29% of normal), in Frenaros 25.5 millimeters (60% of normal), and in Saitta with 21.2 millimeters (32% of normal).
In the last 24 hours there was a large amount of rainfall in Athienou with 6.9 mm, in the Cross of Psoka with 6.6 millimeters, in the new port of Limassol with 3.2 millimeters and in Poli with 2.5 millimeters.
