The “antigen rapid test” and the kits for detecting the coronavirus mutation arrived yesterday from Turkey in the occupied areas, announced the “Minister of Health” Unal Ustel.
According to reports in the occupied territories, Mr. Ustel stated that equipment will be purchased so that the hospital in occupied Nicosia can increase from 7 to 10 thousand PCR tests performed on a daily basis.
He also said that the vaccinations for the second dose are progressing with 20 thousand vaccines coming from Turkey, while the vaccinations for the first dose have stopped for the time being.
More vaccines will continue to come from Turkey, he said, adding that they aim to reduce the number of cases after April.
