RCB Bank Ltd has announced that it has successfully completed its sale Part B of the portfolio of serviced loans to Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd.
According to the announcement, this Part B concerns Cypriot and European loans with a gross book value of approximately € 64 million. The total serviced loans of RCB Bank Ltd that have been sold to Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd (Parts A & B) amount to approximately € 356 million gross book value.
“It is recalled that RCB Bank Ltd, which is in the process of disengaging from its banking services due to the new geopolitical realities, decided to proceed with the sale of part of its serviced loan portfolio in order to ensure the smooth return of all deposits to its customers, a pioneering move in the banking history of Cyprus , thus treating its customers in a completely ethical way, as defined by its principles “, the announcement states.
Adds that the total amount from the sale of the serviced loans of RCB Bank Ltd to Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd not only covers all the deposits that have been returned or that are in the process of return, but also a significant name of liquid assets for its further activities.
