With seven contemporary and award-winning films from Cyprus, France, Italy and Argentina, the summer cinema of the Rialto Theater returns, which takes place in June and July, in the adjacent parking lot of SEK Limassol.
An announcement from the event states that “the successful institution of summer cinema returns to cool our summer evenings with open-air cinema screenings” and that the three films to be screened in June are a collaboration between the Rialto Theater and the French Institute in Cyprus. the French Institute in Greece and the Alliance Française Limassol, in the context of the Francophone events 2021.
First screening, on June 25, for the French comedy “Notre Dame”, followed by, on June 28, the also French film “Felicità” (comedy-drama). On June 30, the romantic drama, also of French production, “Silver Spirit” (Vif-argent) will be screened.
In July, the summer cinema continues with the Cypriot comedy “The Magic Beans”, which will be screened on the 7th of the month, while on July 13 the Italian comedy “Three wonderful girls” (È per il tuo bene) will be screened.
This is followed on July 21 by the comedy “Little Crime”, a co-production of Cyprus – Greece, while the summer screenings end on July 28 with the comedy “The Masterpiece” (Mi Obra Maestra), from Argentina.
All screenings will be in the original dialogues, with Greek and English subtitles, while those interested can purchase tickets from the theater's website, www.rialto.com.cy.
