"This means that the Ministry, through the examination of complaints, now has the responsibility to supervise the decisions, actions and omissions of the OAH, as well as the health care service providers, ensuring that they are aligned with the mission and goals of the NHS», added.</p> <p>He also noted that the Ministry of Health will be able to examine ex officio issues concerning the effective operation of the NHS, seeking continuous improvement and ensuring quality health services for all citizens.</p> <p> He also reminded that last week approved the establishment of the institution of the Patient Advocate, saying that this indicates the Ministry's dedication to ensuring patient rights and quality health care. "With these targeted actions, the Ministry of Health confirms its commitment to a health system worthy of citizens' expectations, providing safety, quality and accessibility to services,", he concluded.</p> <p> In response to a question about his actions Ministry, following the pharmacists' announcement of their intention to abstain during holidays and evenings, the Minister replied that the matter will be handled by the pharmaceutical services.
