Panic erupted at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport when a family of Americans presented security officers with a missile she had found during her vacation in the country and decided & # 8230; to take it as a souvenir!
As soon as the nature of the “souvenir” of the family became known, there was a panic at the airport, outside Tel Aviv , with passengers running in panic inside the departure hall. In fact, a man was injured during the panic and was taken to hospital for first aid.
The Israeli press reported that during the family trip one of the children had found the missile , which had not exploded, during during a visit to the Golan Heights and packed it to take home as a souvenir.
When they showed it to security during a check on their luggage, officers immediately requested that the area be evacuated. Firefighters were called to the scene, but the alarm went off a few minutes later.
The family finally boarded their flight after being questioned by security personnel.
