A serious traffic accident occurred around 19:30 at night on the road from Cherry to the village of Marki, near the camp.
According to information from politis.com.cy, a young man under circumstances investigated by the police, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a sidewalk and then the vehicle came to a standstill.
The 18-year-old was rushed to the General Hospital of Nicosia and his condition is considered very serious.
The examinations are continued by the Police.
