A minor racing rider was transported to the Nicosia Hospital after his serious injury today on a motocross track in the village of Makounta, in the Poleos Chrysochous apartment.
According to the Police, during training for racing motorcycles for a motocross, a 14-year-old minor racing rider lost control of his motorcycle, under the circumstances under investigation, he beat one of the attendees, a 29-year-old Greek Cypriot.
The two persons were taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Paphos General Hospital, where according to the doctor on duty, the minor has a vertebral fracture and due to the seriousness of his condition was transferred to the Nicosia General Hospital for further treatment.
The 29-year-old remains for further treatment at Paphos Hospital.
The causes of the accident are being investigated.
