<p> With childish laughter and voices, the building of the House of Representatives was flooded this morning and a message of optimism was sent in every direction by the children who participated in the actions organized in the parliament on the initiative of Parliament Speaker Annita Dimitriou. of World Children's Day. </p>
<p>Seventy-one (71) children and their teachers from seven schools in Nicosia participated in the event. Upon arrival, the young guests were led to the plenary hall of the Parliament, where welcoming them, the Speaker of Parliament spoke about the importance of this day, especially in terms of children's rights, and developed the role and work of the House of Representatives. The children were then divided into four groups and participated in a corresponding number of workshops. In the first workshop, Mr. Hambis Tsangaris, the well-known engraver, presented to the children the Cypriot fairy tale “Spanos ji oi Saranda drazioi”.
