The contracts for the Construction of Flood Protection Works in the Municipality of Lakatamia were signed on February 2, 2022, which will cost € 176,370 + VAT, according to an announcement by the Municipality.
It is clarified that the offer was announced on the basis of a hydrological study, which was prepared by a hydrological engineer, improvement works will be performed at specific points in the rainwater network, which will help address the problems that arise, especially in cases of extreme weather events.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Municipality by the Mayor Fotoula Hatzipapa and on behalf of the company Digestion & Son Contractor Ltd, Panikos Chrysostomou.
