The retail turnover recorded a significant increase on an annual basis in October, according to data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service on Monday.
The Retail Trade Turnover Value Index increased in October 2021 by 10.6% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. During the same month, the Retail Trade Turnover Volume Index increased by 6.2% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
Specifically for the period January-October 2021, the value index is estimated to have increased by 9.4% and the volume index increased by 7.4% compared to the same period of 2020.
