The Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Neapolis Paphos and the company MCC & Engineers LLC signed a Cooperation Agreement with the aim of promoting cooperation and the exchange of knowledge in the field of construction project management as well as providing opportunities for the integration of students and graduates into the labor market.
The Partnership Agreement combines the academic expertise of the Department of Civil Engineering and the industry experience of the construction company MCC & Engineers LLC to promote innovative research, development and application of construction project management practices. In this context, Dr. Hidiroglou, consultant in contract management and project planning, with many years of experience, in this context, provided the University library with a copy of the book he has published entitled “Subcontracting Contracts, Tender, Negotiation and Contract Terms”. The book is about subcontracting in the Cypriot Construction Industry.
The collaboration between the Department of Civil Engineering and MCC & Engineers LLC exemplifies the commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, fostering innovation and advancing the field of construction project management, and is a milestone as it paves the way for exciting new opportunities for both parties involved.
The Cooperation Agreement was signed on behalf of Neapolis Paphos University by Assoc. Professor Dr. Yannis Bellos, President of the Department of Civil Engineering, and Dr. Iordanis Hidiroglou, Director of MCC & Engineers LLC.
