After the announcement for the assistant coach , Apollon announced the beginning of the cooperation with Andre Skembri, who will work again in the Limassol team, having the position of football director.

“The Apollon Football Company (Public) Ltd announces the beginning of its cooperation with Andre Skembri, who assumes the position of Football Director of our team.
Andre was born in May 1986 in Malta and comes from a football family as his father and grandfather were also international footballers.
Only at the age of 19 (in 2007) he transferred to Germany on behalf of Eintracht Braunschweig and then played in a row for Carl Chais Jena, Austria Kerden, Ferencvaros, Olympiakos Volou, Panionios, Omonia, FSV Frankfurt, Boagna and Boavista.
Towards the end of his football career which ended in 2018, he secured a UEFA B coaching diploma and is a graduate of the University of Hull in the field of Sport Science and Coaching in Football.
He is an experienced personality with a wide range of knowledge about football and football management with many connections in the field of sport.
Also in his favor is the ability to speak English, Italian, German, Portuguese and Greek fluently.
Through his professional career all these years he gained important experiences which in combination with his football and academic knowledge will be able to meet the crucial role entrusted to him by the Management of the Football Company.
Andre Skembri will be the liaison between the football department and the Administration while at the same time he will be responsible for the coordination and full operation of our training center in Kolossi.
