The Cyprus Stock Exchange posted small losses on Monday, recording the second falling session of the month. The General Index closed at 117.65 points, recording small daily losses of 0.40%.
The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 71.18 points, presenting down 0.42%. The daily turnover amounted to €161,414.
The individual stock market indices presented a mixed picture. Hotels showed gains of 1.67% and the Alternative Market by 0.57%, while the Main Market fell by 0.77%. The Investment sector showed no change.
Bank of Cyprus securities attracted the most investment interest with €81,730 (no change – closing price €3.03). The shares of Dimitra Investments followed with €26,172 (no change – closing price €0.54), Logicom Public Ltd with €22,253 (down 1.79% – closing price €2.20), Hellenic Bank with €14,757 ( down 1.55% – closing price €1.90) and Petrolina with €6,328 (no change – closing price €1.13).
Of the stocks that trading, two moved up, four down and seven unchanged. The number of transactions reached 100.
In addition, the Stock Exchange announced that its Council, within the context of examining the content of the Independent Auditors' Reports in the Annual Financial Reports of issuers listed on the CSE Regulated Market for the year ending on 12/31/2022, decided based on the provision 2.2.6 of KDP 379/2014 (as amended), the securities of the issuers FILOKTIMATIKI DIMOSSIA LTD, DISPLAY ART PLC and CPI HOLDINGS PUBLIC LTD will continue to be presented with the symbol (Σ) on the trading tables and price sheets in their Market (Alternative ) [provision 2.2.6(b) of KDP 379/2014 (as amended)], due to the content of the Independent Auditors' Report for the year ended 12/31/2022 (Material uncertainty related to going concern).
Adds that the Council will remove the marking (S) from the trading tables and price lists for the securities of the above issuers, when it finds that the reasons that led in the presentation of the markup in the values of the publishers, they will have disappeared.
