Dozens of new jobs and a new choice in the aluminum market
DINOS POUPAS LTD with its announcement informs about the creation of a model Unit for Extrusion and Surface Treatment of Aluminum profiles in the industrial zone in the Municipality of Idali. According to the announcement, DINOS POUPAS LTD has the technical training to lead to the modernization of the market by creating modern thermal insulation systems as well as aluminum profiles that will give upgraded options to the consumer, with a modern design and a balanced quality-price ratio.
The company recently entered into an agreement to acquire 2 buildings to house all its activities.
It is estimated that more than 70% of the plant's energy needs will be covered by renewable sources.
Specifically, the new unit will have:
• the largest rooftop photovoltaic system in Cyprus, with a capacity of 3MW.
• state-of-the-art wastewater treatment unit.
• system for rainwater management.
At the same time, a tree planting program will be adopted in order to gradually improve the landscape in the area.
In addition to the procedures and studies carried out to fully fulfill the requirements of the environmental legislative framework, the company has prepared on its own initiative presentations and guided tours of the organized groups in the area with the aim of fully informing them about the production process. In this model unit, at least 80 new jobs are created for skilled and unskilled personnel. An aim of these meetings is for the residents to get to know the facilities and the products produced but also to appreciate the professional level and culture of the company.
