State Department travel advisory for Iran – 'Avoid all travel to the country'

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Cypriot citizens intending to travel to Iran to avoid all travel to Iran due to recent developments in the region.

In a travel directive effective from Monday, August 5, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Cypriot citizens who intend to travel to Iran to avoid all travel to the country.   

Cypriot citizens in the country are advised to remain alert and closely monitor developments and information from international and local media and implement maximum security measures .

Cypriot citizens are also invited to register on the online registration platform for Cypriots abroad Connect2CY.
