Stefanos Duskos qualified for the men's single skiff final at the Olympics Games, with the Greek rower finishing in third place.

Stefanos Duskos qualified for the single sculls final of the Olympic Games, as the 2020 Greek Olympic rower finished 3rd in the 2nd semi-final series, covering the two kilometers of the course in 6 minutes, 40 seconds and 78 centimeters.

The German, Oliver Zeigler, finished in first place with a performance of 6:35.77, which is an Olympic record (s.s. the previous one was 6:40.45 by Douskos from Tokyo in 2021).

The leading Greek rower continues his journey in the top event, where his main goal is to win a medal, as he did in Tokyo three years ago, climbing to the highest step of the podium.

The six in the final, which will be held on August 3 (11:30), are as follows:

1. Stefanos Duskos (Greece)

2. Oliver Seidler (Germany)

3. Yaucheni Zalati (Belarusian/Neutral flag)

4. Simon Van Dorp (Netherlands)

5. Thomas Mackintosh (New Zealand)

6. Tim Bryce (Belgium)
