A meeting with the Pediatric Society will be held on Monday by the Minister of Health, Michalis Hatzipantela, to discuss the issue of outbreak of streptococcus in Europe and whether any additional measures will be taken.
In statements in Larnaca and asked about the outbreak that exists regarding streptococcus, the Minister replied that “there is an outbreak throughout Europe. Our aim is to have a meeting with the Pediatric Society tomorrow where all the data will be analysed and we will decide if any additional decisions or any additional measures need to be taken.” .
