Approximately 50 Wolt distributors and another 20 working with various other companies, gathered in the afternoon at the beach of Finikoudes in Larnaca< /strong> protestersfor their salaries but also for their working conditions.
As Andreas Trahanas, Central Organizing Secretary of the Union of Hotel and Leisure Center Employees (SYXKA) PEO Larnaca reported to KYPE, “late in the afternoon around 70 people , from various distributor companies, most of them from Wolt stopped their work and gathered on Finikoudi beach protesting their wages and working conditions”.
He added that “the distributors they sympathize with their colleagues who are on strike in Nicosia and will continue the strike” until they get justice.
It is recalled that the Wolt distributors complain about the fact that they work under adverse conditions and unfavorable conditions, since as they claim they are obliged to use their own vehicle and bear all the maintenance costs while they have to pay for the protector themselves their equipment.
