According to an announcement by the Student Welfare Service, the mentioned list has been posted on the website of the Ministry.

It is noted that no feeding allowance is granted to students who were entitled to receive food stamps from the Public Universities of Cyprus and the Public Higher Education Schools of Cyprus.
Failure to submit the evidence, within the above timetables, entails the loss of the right to provide student allowances.
It is noted that the supporting documents must be submitted by hand, to the Student Welfare Service of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth (Address: 6 Tefkrou, 4th Floor, 1066 Nicosia) from 8:00 am. until 2:30 p.m. (phone: 22804002).
It is stated that supporting documents will not be received sent by post or courier services.
Beneficiaries of the housing allowance, who study in Cyprus, must present the original rental contract of the premises they rented for the period from 1/9/2018 to 31/8/2019, certified by a certifying officer for contracts under € 5000 or stamped by the Tax Officer for contracts over € 5000 and original registered receipts for payment of rent and electricity or water or telephone bill, which show the name of the student.
For students studying abroad, rental documents that have not been certified / stamped are also accepted, meaning that original receipts for payment of rent and electricity or water or telephone bill showing the student's name will also be submitted.
It is noted that the housing allowance is granted to those who reside in the premises of the Public Universities of Cyprus and the Public Higher Education Schools of Cyprus, provided that the beneficiaries will provide the necessary supporting documents
In addition, it is clarified that the amount of the housing allowance for the eligible refugee students will be added to the amount of the rent subsidy that the refugee students are entitled to from the Displaced Care and Rehabilitation Service, so that the total monthly amount to be paid does not exceed 150 euros. .
Regarding the payment of allowance for the purchase or upgrade of a computer (PC), it is pointed out that it is necessary to submit original registration receipts (in the name of the student or parent), with a payment date of July 1, 2018, up to 15 days after the publication of the list below (ie until December 3, 2019).
The total cost for the purchase or upgrade of a computer may not exceed € 500.
It is emphasized that this allowance concerns the purchase of a desktop PC or a laptop only.
Original nominal receipts (in the name of the student or the parent) are also required for the purchase of university books, with a payment date from September 1, 2018 to August 31, 2019, stating the titles of the books purchased and the purchase price .
The total cost for the purchase of university books can not exceed € 300.
It is stated that the student allowances will be paid in the bank number “IBAN” already declared by the beneficiaries, ie where the Student Sponsorship was paid (eg to an Educational Institution or elsewhere).
It is noted that the beneficiaries who wish to change the already declared bank number “IBAN”, so that the student allowances that are entitled to be paid to another account, will have to submit a signed statement to which is attached an IBAN number certificate from the Credit.
