The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (YEEB) announces the invitation to submit applications under the Sponsorship Plan to Enhance the Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Manufacturing Sector and other Targeted Economic Activities, which is included in the Program .Α »2021-2027 and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the EU. and the Republic of Cyprus.
The Plan aims to support, develop and promote small and medium enterprises in the manufacturing sector and other targeted economic activities, as shown in detail in the Plan Guide. The intensity of the sponsorship amounts to 60% of the approved investment program and can cover expenses related to Construction / Expansion of Buildings, Configuration / Layout of Buildings, Purchase of New Machinery / Equipment, Means of Transport and Other Expenses.
The total amount that will be allocated for the needs of the Plan amounts to € 50 million. This budget may be amended.
Those interested can obtain the Plan Guide which contains all the details, the Model Application Form, as well as other required forms or documents, from the website of the Industry and Technology Service (www.meci.gov.cy/sit).
The first time period for the submission of proposals will begin on February 9, 2021 at 08:00 am. and the applications will be accepted through the electronic System of Sponsorship Plans (SYSHCHO) of YEEB until September 30, 2021 at 23.59 or until the available budget is exhausted.
The second time period for the submission of proposals may take place between March 2022 and September 2022, provided that there is still a budget available in the Plan Budget.
It is emphasized that applications and related supporting documents should only be submitted online at https://fundingapps.mcit.gov.cy, using the Chrome, Firefox and Edge browsers.
The order of priority will be determined based on the order of submission of proposals (immediate evaluation) and the maximum amount of approvals will not exceed the available budget of the Call.
