Henning Berg surprised with his selections in the starting lineup against AEL. The Norwegian coach left out Sehou, Thiago, Papouli, Assade, as well as Vitor Gomes, in relation to the one he played in the last match against Apollon.
Hubochan, Gometh (returned from punishment), Loizou, Kakoullis and Douris took their places. Note that on Wednesday Omonia will play a new derby with Apollon and is one of the reasons for the rotation, which includes many surprises.
